Stella, your second job could be as a travel promoter for Texas! I can't wait to visit Austin. Your voice really conveys your pride in your city and state, and the feeling that you are truly "back home." I guess your time here in San Diego was just an extended visit!
I'm enjoying all your posts about your trip to Japan. Now I want to visit there as well! Thanks for sharing all of this with those of us who are locked in place at the moment.
